Lynn Riel is a seasoned Webmaster who is very hands-on and has a passion for the internet and creative work. She worked as an award winning computer instructor, course developer and corporate trainer across the Niagara Region for 10 years. In the classroom at Niagara College, Niagara FreeNet, Lifetime Learning Center and MicroAge. Also teaching online for colleges province wide through The Consortium of Ontario Learn. In the areas of Graphic Design, Webpage Design Software and Internet. Lynn Riel is one of the pioneers in this industry, having started with the Niagara FreeNet back in 1994.
In 1997 Lynn started First Wave on a part time basis to pursue her passion of developing websites. In 2006 Lynn quit teaching to pursue First Wave on full time basis, she worked alone for many years, and now First Wave has grown to the point where a team was needed to be put into place in order to keep up with the demands of developing effective websites on the ever changing world wide web.
